Description
Still life with fruit and African violet displays beautiful color combination and great subject. This is a unique watercolor painting on a special watercolor canvas. It's no coincidence I have included my purple African violet in this painting. I used to have 5 African violets, but only 1 of them survived for 16 years. It blossoms for a very long time. I have also painted in this still life fruit which is often available at our place: apple, lemons, orange and grapes. The blue mug is also present in many of my still life paintings, it creates a great accent and bridges colors between fruit and African violet, as well as creates contrast with the warm background.
